CHANGING THE WAY WE AGE
As we navigate through life's journey, there is a need to redefine our perspective on aging. It is about embracing change and the opportunities it brings. By providing the necessary resources, we can ensure a fulfilling and enriching experience for each individual as they age gracefully. It is crucial to preserve their dignity, allowing them to maintain their independence and autonomy. However, aging should not be seen as a burden, but rather an exciting phase filled with joy and excitement. By promoting a sense of fun and adventure, we can create an environment that encourages personal growth and happiness. Together, let us change the way we age, fostering a society that values and cherishes our older adults.

We have some sad news that we would like to share with the Clarion County Community.
As of March 30th, the New Bethlehem Senior Center will be closed. ONLY the NEW BETHLEHEM CENTER.
We have already announced this to our participants at that center, and we thank them for their understanding in this matter.
It was not an easy decision, and a lot went into this final decision of closing it.
The other 4 senior centers in Clarion County will remain operating. If you are age 60 or up, you are invited to go to any of our senior centers in the county. Those are the Main Street Center in Clarion, the Knox center, Leeper center, and Rimersburg Center.
We have people on waitlists for services, such as Home Delivered Meals. We want to serve as many people as possible, and again, this decision was not taken lightly.
We want to take this time to encourage you to write letters to our local and state legislatures. Write about how important funding is for the aging population. If you are a senior citizen yourself, maybe you have been provided assistance with services? Write about the impact it had on you or others you know.
If you have any questions about this decision or would like to find out about our other senior centers, please call us at 814-226-4640, we would be happy to answer any questions you may have.

Clarion Area Agency on Aging is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, and all contributions are tax-deductible to the fullest extent allowed by law. If you would like to discuss how your gift can make the greatest impact, please call our office at (814) 226-4640
Help us to continue to meet our mission "to provide and promote appropriate integrated services for the safety and support of those age 60+ and their caregivers to enhance quality of Life, while respecting individual choices"!
Your generosity ensures that no senior in Clarion County feels forgotten, isolated, or without support.
